BruBotics Rehabilitation Research center website go-live

The BRRC

The Brubotics Rehabilitation Research Center (BRRC) is the new lab of the BruBotics Rehabilitation Research group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. This lab is a state-of-the-art, interdisciplinary innovation hub that offers human movement analysis and technology-supported rehabilitation research. The BRRC will be used to test commercial rehabilitation robots and technologies, but also rehabilitation robots (exoskeletons, …) and rehabilitation technology (virtual reality applications, gaming devices, sensors,…) that are designed by our Brubotics colleagues from the engineering departments.

It is amongst others equipped with 14 VICON motion capture camera's, 3 force plates, a GAITrite system, EMG and EEG measurement devices, Metamax 3B gas analysis and and Ekso NR Gait rehabilitation exoskeleton. It is located at the VUB Health Campus in Jette.

The lab is also available for use by third parties.

New Website

The new website has been launched this week and contains all the information on the available equipment and services. It will be further updated and expanded in the coming months.
